I know the new games don't support that "old technology" but on the xinput switch the mac wouldn't detect the gamepad. I then bought a Logitech f710 controller and it doesn't support mac but I got it connected with the directinput switch. I then bought a PC Xbox controller and what didn't work either. It worked fine but I felt I was missing some of the controls so I asked my friend and he said a wires xbox 360 controller would work so I bought one and it didn't work. The game didn't detect it so I use Gamepad companion which didn't really work as you could not map the analogue stick so I got something else called joystick mapper. Before this I had an Xbox 360 controller with a wireless adaptor an I download the drivers of or some place like that.
